We offer the areas only "PAIN FREE" Computerized Spinal Adjustments utilizing a PulstarFRAS analysis and adjusting system which we recently upgraded to the newest version available in April of 2018. This technology allows Dr. Grant to safely adjust patients with previous spinal surgery, spinal arthritis, spinal stenosis and degeneration, bulging and herniated discs, osteoporosis, or with acute pain and muscle spasms. This is also an excellent option for those patients who don't want to experience any popping,cracking, or twisting of their neck or back.
Dr. Grant also utilizes the more traditional adjusting methods such as Pettibon, Gonstead, Diversified, and Thompson mechanical drop table techniques, as well as some extremity adjusting.
If X-Rays are necessary, we have a Bennett High Frequency X-Ray machine with Rare Earth Screens for minimal exposure and optimal image quality. We can also refer patients out for MRI, CT, Diagnostic Ultrasound, EMG/NCV, and other advanced imaging studies if warranted.
Our Physiological Therapeutics area serves as an "adjunct" to the Chiropractic Adjustment and includes Cold Laser, Ultrasound, Interferential Current, and Electrical Muscle Stimulation.
We now have one of the most comprehensive Cold Laser Treatment facilities in Western NC. We upgraded our Laser treatment capabilities once again in March of 2020 with the purchase of a brand new Class IV Thermal 30 Watt Pulsed 810 nm. unit. This is in addition to the Class IV Thermal 9 Watt 810 nm unit we purchased in Nov. 2019. We also have a Class IV 808 nm 6 diode unit. Our Laser inventory now includes 8 different devices, ranging from single diode Class III a and III b units, to multi diode combination units. We have seen tremendous success with this treatment, especially for extremity complaints such as; rotator cuff, tendonitis, and bursitis problems in the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand problems like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Hip, knee, and ankle problems and plantar fasciitis also respond well to this safe and affordable FDA approved therapy.
Cold Laser Treatment is also available at our office as a separate treatment modality, without Chiropractic care. A typical treatment regimen usually consists of 4-6 sessions which take just a few minutes each. The cost for treatment is $20- per session, or $100- for 6 sessions.
